Just got in from today's doggie event in Melbourne...gave out some business cards, schmoozed.

The most noteworthy bit IMO occured during the drive down, when we encountered a bright blue Ferrari SUV. Not only did I not know that Ferrari made SUVs, I've never seen an SUV with a spoiler before.

One more day---tomorrow evening I can go home!

I had to google "Ferrari SUV" before I'd believe you hadn't hallucinated it. But there's not much doubt about the readability of that font, is there?

I think it's ugly, personally. Not quite as bad as a Porsche Cayenne, but close.

It WAS early. But unless we both hallucinated it at the same time---!

If it hadn't been badged within an inch of its life, I would've thought it a particularly gaudy Land Rover.

Scored big on my outing today-- got 2 pr of pants, a cool 60's platter and a shirt at A+ Thrift for around $8. Hit a yard sale and got a WWII era mini-replica of Roosevelt's little White House, Warm Springs. Was made in Japan and looks to be made out of pewter (.25). Hit another yard sale and got a neat giclee print and came to find out that it's by a famous Melb Beach artist who passed away this past August. Name was PC Bailey. He did cool Florida stuff..THEN, the coupe de grace was the last garage sale on Melody's street- got a set of 7 light blue (look like Depression glass to me) dinner plates for $3. Was going to hit the Goodwill on MI but had to do grocery shopping and was pooped out at that point...your car sighting sounds interesting..seems like a good day was had by all--now to finish making my famous meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and yeast rolls for dinner.

Sounds like you had fun! WWII Made in Japan?! How bizarre. Your stuff sounds fascinating, especially the artwork. And the retro platter. And the blue plates sound pretty.

We had excellent weather (altho a smidgen warmer would've been nice---just the fact that our table was in the shade the whole day; cross the street and it was downright cozy), passed out card and flyers, the usual.

Our mutual friends are due back tomorrow, and I'm busy rounding up all the stuff that made its way over here a little at a time. And church in the a.m.---yawn!
