I know it's only June. It's a long damn time til October, specifically, til the annual "Come as You're Not" party at [livejournal.com profile] karaokegal's LJ. But I happened to be watching "American Pickers" on DVR this sfternoon, and Frank mentioned cranking some AC-DC and a bunny bit me hard. I can safely say that a fic/RPF crossover will be a first for me.

I also have a coda for the "Justified" season finale. (My God, I love Boyd Crowder!) That's in addition to the slightly AU SPN/Jutified crossover I've been contemplating.

Plus, my [livejournal.com profile] spn_summergen story is about ready to be submitted. I'm on a roll!

This was the one where they were in the Carolinas and bought the Studebaker. Whoa, that's SOME car. On the other hand, I liked the Dodge they got a while ago, too, but they didn't get such a god deal on it. And the Stude is MUCH cooler.

Yes, I was watching it on Monday. I was glad to see that they got a second season going. Very interesting stuff that they find- that's my kind of job!!

Me too---I always thought it would be cool to be the person who finds some of the STUFF they display at restaurants like Cracker Barrel.

On the other hand, I'd break my neck trying to get into some of the places they get into to pick. Or knock on the wrong weirdo's door and wind up in an unmarked grave somewhere....

There's also the snake factor as some of those places that they've crawled in and out of are likely full of them---I also think they get the door slammed on them a lot.
I never realized that there were that many "junkers" out there in America. Some of those yards and properties would drive me crazy if I owned them, though. I'd at least have to straighten out the piles of stuff! ha ha

I read that as "My God, I love Boy Chowder." Honestly, it was before I'd had coffee! :D

It's reassuring to have an idea in mind.
