Ran into BC at the food bank this morning. His #1 son was also there, and I got myself invited to see The A-Team with them this evening. I liked it; not as much as the original (or The Losers), but it had its moments. Plus, it was two hours in free A/C and BC drove.

BC made jokes about my smuggling, but honestly, why carry a bag the size of a schnauzer if not to transport chilled 2-liter bottles? It's not like I have money to pay theater prices! #1 Son, who works there, shrugged and said as long as I wasn't obvious enough to get him into trouble, he didn't care.

On the way home from the food bank this morning, I saw a car with "My other car is a pirate ship" spelled out across the trunk. I think someone is confusing reality and porn again....

Recorded and watched the new ABC Family show, Huge---teens at weight loss camp. I got sent to one of those during my 12th summer...I think that's going to turn into its own post, but not right now. There will be angst.

How was Huge? It looks promising - but promises have been broken before.

The jury is still out. This ep was largely set-up, introducing characters and setting up conflicts. So far, they haven't been too heavy-handed---I'm not trying to coming up with all these plus-size puns, I swear!---so I'll be back for more, assuming I still have cable, as money is tight.

I once sat in the same aisle as a family (mom, dad, two kids) who actually smuggled what looked like McDonalds in to a theatre! I mean, I was smelling hamburgers (the theatre didn't sell them) and going WTF? Look over and sure enough, they're hunkered down in their seats eating burgers and fries!

That's a little over the top even for me. Sure, I'll bring in munchies like jelly beans and chocolate, but not a meal. Like #1 Son said, as long as it's DISCRETE. Which a Happy Meal ain't!

I'll admit there've been times I *wanted* a hamburger during a movie, but I've never had the guts to try sneaking one in!
