Quasi-productiveness

I have laundry going in circles, had an ample lunch of The Stuff (with Rice), and sprayed the kitchen counter for ants. Never mind vinegar as a green remedy, it doesn't freaking work. Give me chemicals, damn it!

If I really get ambitious, I may put on clothes and go down to the mailbox. It's getting* toward the end of the month, my subscription to Country Living might be there.

Today's been up around 88---less balmy than yesterday, but not oh-good-I-can't-MOVE hot. Just a few more weeks, and hopefully 80 will be a high and not a low.

I love Country Living. Also Midwest Living and Victoria (my favorite - if I could only read one, it would be Victoria).

When you live alone and it's hot, clothes are extraneous.

I've never heard of Midwest Living. I used to love Victoria, but they had some kind of editorial takeover or makeover, and suddenly, everything was French. And expensive. And they did away with the fiction. Oh well, there are plenty of other 'zines out there, although NOT...

...my all-time favorite, which was the much-lamented Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion. I adored that one, it matched my ecclectic-vintage-with-leanings-toward-Fiestaware decorating sensibilities.
