It's currently 49F/9.4C in my office, the weather forecast calls for a hard freeze, IE more than four hours below 28F/2.2C overnight, and a high tomorrow in the 50s. Brrr.
Supposedly it will be back up to a normal 70-something by the end of the week; meanwhile, fleece is the answer. I also remade my bed so I can use the wedge pillow, although the weight of all the covers may be problematic. Napping with it under ONE comforter was excellent, it really does support my lower legs nicely, but we'll see how well it works IRL conditions.

Date: 2010-12-14 07:18 pm (UTC)It was 58 in my office, with the furnace running flat out and the oil heater left on, when I got here this morning. I was puzzled until I went into the restroom and found some idiot had left the attic door open so that the 18 degree air was roaring through the eave vents right into the building. It's amazing the plumbing didn't freeze solid in there.
The Padre and I have been shut up tight in two rooms with the oil heater and it's bearable, but the rest of the place is a meat locker.
