A grand day out

vanillafluffyI just got back from a very nice lunch with Red at Olive Garden. Had our usual: Soup, salad and breadsticks, zuppa tuscana for her and pasta e fagioli for me, with tons of freshly grated cheese. Much schmoozing was done; I've known her longer than anyone else in my life at this pooint...I had to think about it, but yeah. She came on the scene a couple years before GK, BC et al.
When we'd both reached the chipmunk stage, she departed to go snag dog food, while I headed across the road to Fashion Bug. I get their emails, so I knew they had a sale going on jeans. No luck; even at half off, I wasn't willing to commit to denim I was less than thrilled with. However, I *did* find a pair of gray pants to succeed the ones I have now, which are about 3 years old and have been well-worn. The new ones were $8.50 with tax, which in my book is an awesome deal.
