A while ago, I started a load of laundry, and said to myself, "Self, while that's going around in circles, let's see how many clothes you can shed from the long bar.". I filled a Rubbermaid tote to the brim with blouses/tops that are too big, too fugly or I never wear them, several vests---I haven't worn any of them in years---and a few other odds and ends.

It's a start. My goal is to get down to about 100 pieces of clothing, probably a few more under the classification of winter wear (anything with long sleeves, basically) or incentive pieces. I don't have a lot of the later, because there's a surprising amount of my old incentive pile that I'm wearing now. I'd say a dozen pieces or less is what I have that's too small at the moment. (Too large is actually more of a problem, yay!)

I also dipped into my Coke Rewards points---my Country Living subscription is about to expire, and I also splurged on Better Homes and Gardens. Getting a couple 'zines in my mailbox every month helps me not to feel too deprived when I can't buy any at the checkout.

So, not necessarily as productive as yesterday, but still getting things done.

I figure I'm not nearly bad enough for "Hoarders". Near as I can tell, Peter Walsh only works with couples. And I flat-out can't afford to hire help...so I'm stuck doing it myself. I'm trying to do a little at a time. It didn't get this way overnight (although parts of it *were* clean---then they weren't---wtf?!), it's not going to be reversed overnight, much as I wish it would!---but it'll get there eventually. I'm trying to get as much done while the weather is between freeze and fry; I know how my get-up-and-go grinds to a halt when it's 80F+.
