J has LotR2 playing in the background. Someone said, "There are orcs roaming our land!" and the first thing that came into my head was, "Free-range orcs?!"

I know. random.

ROFL! Those are the sturdy healthy kind!
Reminds me of the occasion when we were talking about chicken and eggs in a German language class. The farm-raised vs free-range chickens. The way I chose to translate the latter kind made the chicken sound as if out on a bail...

A lot of people consider free-range products to be the most desirable for health reasons...I am not sure the same would be said of orcs, and trying to picture the round-up is mind-boggling!
