I'm not going to talk about what kind of day I've had. Suffice to say, I have never had a panic attack before, but I strongly suspect I'm having one now. Not fun.

My best friend paid my homeowner's insurance for me--this is Florida, that's one thing you CAN'T let lapse--and my water bill. Everything else is hanging over my head. So if I all of a sudden stop posting, you'll know it's because my cable company/internet provider has cut me off.

Yes, she is. I went to high school with her and her brothers (Her oldest brother was my date for the senior prom, because he and I both wanted to go, and his girlfriend didn't. I asked her permission, we went, had a good time, got incredibly lost on the way home, OMG!), and her family kind of adopted me after my folks passed away. I've often said that her mom has been LIKE a mother to me longer than my mom WAS a mother to me. Which isn't a slam against my mom, but she died when I was 16, and I'm about to turn 46. Basic math!

The icon--adventurat gave me permission to use it. It's great for warm fuzzy feelings when the fit is hitting the shan. She's also the genius who put together Laurie of Arabia from the pix I gave her....
