On the fence

Oh happy day! Tomorrow I have a couple companies coming out to give fence estimates (and another one on Wednesday). I can hardly wait, as the level of tresspass is completely unacceptable. I'm tired of people stomping through my yard at all hours of the day and night and ignoring my requests to leave. I'm tired of their drama. I'm flat-out Over It.

Apparently, a six-foot fence is okay, but barbed wire is not allowed. Pity. I'm still taking the "Hook a car battery up to it to electrify the fence" idea under consideration. Failing that, punji sticks....

Also getting the yard mowed again, this time by Mb's neighbor, who is also bidding on the fence job.

In good news, Target is FINALLY having their white sale. Soon I will have pillows!

I have a 10 foot tall wrought iron fence throughout my front yard and 8 foot tall rock fence all around my backyard, which makes it impossible for anyone to get inside. It's the best investment I've ever made, because it keeps unwanted visitors, especially out of town relatives (I don't even think they're really relatives) that use to dropped in unexpectedly for days on end to sponge off of me.

I can hardly wait for you to get your fence up, and if you don't have cats, get yourself a couple of ferocious huge dogs!

How cozy you will sleep when you get your pillows!!

I love dogs, but at the moment, I don't think I can really afford the upkeep---besides, they'd end up in woofing contests with the critters next door, and that I can do without!

Your fence sounds excellent. All you need now is a moat and drawbridge!
