A Very Strange Day

vanillafluffyAll day long, I've been thinking it's Saturday. I have to remind myself, no it's Friday.
I'm house-sitting at the C's---great house, much bigger than S's, and I like it a lot more despite the fact that it's split-level with steps up to the bedroom and down to the family room. *Huge* kitchen---as big as mine and S's combined.
Looking around, I think about what I'd do with it if it was mine. There's a galley space with a sink leading to a back door---clearly it's designed to be a bar, but if those shelves at the far end were taken out, one could put in hooks or a clothes bar and turn it into a mini closet, letting it double as a mud room.
They have at least as many books as I do, which is shocking, since I'm not sure I've ever met anyone with more books than I. (On the other hand, there ARE two of them.)
The dogs are fairly cool, no whining snuffling neuroses here. The cat's a bit of a kvetch, but hey, cats....
They've offered to pay me almost double what I asked for, as long as the house is still standing when they get back, and I know exactly where that money's going: SPN, season one. Something to keep me company after long days at work. Heh heh heh....
Tomorrow I'm supposed to go help B with pre-wedding stuff. She wants some kind of ankle bracelet and thinks I'm the woman to make her one. And who am I to disuade her?
