Work, the drive and everything....

vanillafluffyWork yesterday went pretty well---not too many escalated callers, although the week isn't over yet. Had one caller for Posh Brits who hadn't gotten something one of the retail stores promised to ship her...not only did I manage to sympathize, I got an order out of her. On the other hand, I lost one sale on the last freaking screen when I advised the caller that the item she wanted was backordered. Bummer.
The sun is out today, after two days of murk. I had to drive to work in 20+ miles of ickiness; I can tell I've overcome a lot of my neuroses, since I didn't freak out about it. Much. It's rainy nights I have real problems with; I drove home from Schnauzerland the other night doing 45 because the weather was filthy and I was seriously uncomfortable going over the Banana River causeway. But, since I would've had a full-fledged raving nervous breakdown a year ago, I can pat myself on the back and tell myself I'm improving.
I can report a Javelin (short-lived AMC contribution to the muscle car craze of the late 60's, rather scarce these days) sighting yesterday on my way to work. Last week, I saw a Shelby AC Cobra---undoubtedly a replicar, but still! *hearts* And it seems like not a day goes by when I don't see a BMW Z3, which I think is darling, but too small for me. *sigh*
