O happy day!

Just as I was starting to reach the "Where the hell is it?!" stage of awaiting an online purchase, it arrived. And it's not like I'm not thoroughly familiar with the vagarities of the postal system. I'd reached the point of checking the date of my PayPal payment, and reminding myself that it was still less than three weeks, when tra-la, my gently used goodies landed in my mailbox.
I'm now the happy owner of a polka-dotted top (white and tan spots on a black background, which will go nicely with some khaki shorts or slacks) and a halter dress, black with white dots. Both are a wee bit more snug than I would prefer, but are still wearable. It's my own fault---I have my measurements, but I didn't allow for ease of movement.
For those of you on my f'list who wear plus sizes, they allow sales posts on Fridays at
fatshionista. It's well worth checking out! Over the course of the last six months, I've gotten a number of delightful deals that way---it has the advantage over eBay in that the seller sets the price, first come, first served. Usually the prices (plus shipping) are reasonable, and I haven't had any problems yet with a seller out of the transactions that I can remember...um, these items, a skirt, a shrug, two pairs of capris, a couple pairs of schlepping pants, oh, and some excellent TALL jeans from Lane Bryant that are incredibly comfortable.
One of these days, I've GOT to get a digital camera!
