Sharing the love for my adopted hometown

This month marks 34 years that I've lived in Florida. (In this very same house, which may help explain why I'm always qvelling about what a MESS this place is!) So, in honor of the anniversary, here's a wee tribute to the Space Coast corner of the Sunshine State.
Florida is not just oranges
We have our share of history
And pop culture references
And the technology of tomorrow

Date: 2008-06-10 05:02 pm (UTC)I am actually a native, born in Pensacola. We moved away and returned in 1975, when I was 15. HATED it! Taking a high school sophomore away from all of the kids she's ever known was not a cool thing for my folks to do. In hindsight, I am very glad that they did!
Congrats to you!
