Even baby plot bunnies can attack without warning. In evidence, I offer this Chase drabble-and-a-half, a scant 150 words of kamikaze cuteness.

Making an Entrance

Movement in the corner of his eye caught Eric Foreman's attention. He glanced toward the doorway of the conference room, and sat staring at the unexpected sight. The new issue of GQ that lay on the table in front of him was forgotten.

Allison Cameron turned around from the coffee maker holding a mug of freshly brewed java. When she saw the figure lounging in the doorway, the mug crashed to the floor, and she stood there with her mouth hanging open.

When Cameron's coffee hit the floor, House glanced away from the whiteboard, where he'd been industriously composing a scene of Cuddy being menaced by clinic zombies. He pivoted in the direction of her fixed gaze, and blinked. A look of disappointment crossed his face.

Robert Chase stood there, grinning widely at the sensation he'd caused. "What?" he asked them. "You never saw a bloke get a haircut before?"

Have I ever mentioned that I really liked Jesse Spencer in "Swimming Upstream"...?

*hugs back* And in my mental image, he was *also* wearing skin-tight black leather trousers, but this version was more family-friendly.

Well that's an image to give a girl pause. Even a girl who is no fan of the 'lunch box'...

Er...I took a look at your last post, and under the circs, I can understand why not. Life with my ex- was no picnic, but my story pales in comparison to yours.

Hugs, condolances and chocolate....

mmmm chocolate. :)

I think in some ways it's simpler to live through it than to hear about it... but I have been known to be delusional

*nods* I agree; offering a sympathetic ear is about all anyone can do for someone online. After that, it's up to them whether they want to vent.

You know where to find me if you need to piss and moan....

I'm well-read and well-rounded (in a fluffy kind of way...).
