I'm really sorry - but at least *knowing* has to be a relief. there's nothing worse than uncertainty looming for a long period

Yeah, I held it together...haven't cried, I'm still kind of numb. I did the best I could; their standards and my standards diverged as to what constituted good service, and I can say I didn't comprise my ethics for a paycheck.
