Aldi's has little chocolate-covered marzipan logs for 99 cents each. Nom nom nom...must not eat them all at once...must not spend bill/gasoline money on them, either.

Very annoying; I had something intended for a house-warming gift for a gal at church sent to Ahab's, since I *thought* I'd be spending more time there. Now it's there and I'm here, and it doesn't look like I'll be getting it in time to give it to her at church this Sunday, unless I want to roughly double the shipping expense, IE, what it would cost to drive down there and back.

I would post a picture of the item, but for some reason, my screen capture isn't working, grrr. Very inconvenient and yes, annoying.

SPN tonight was pretty good...I've been waiting for the show to use the gimmick they did for the MOTW. I'm sorry that we seem to have seen the last of certain people, especially the individual who instigated what was instigated. (Look, I hate to be cryptic, but it's late and I'm not in the mood to fiddle-fart around with cuts. Maybe tomorrow.) Next week is going to be a hoot.

Being in a pissy mood is annoying. Bunch of things bugging me...in addition to the above, I haven't been able to write since, like Yuletide. A few ideas, but nothing that sticks. The whole "poor and unemployed" thing has my head ready to explode, and yes, that includes the Ahab business and some backstory that I'm NOT going to go into, but suffice to say, it's annoying. Feels like I've been thrown under the bus. *sigh*

Then, too, there's the first anniversary of Kat's death on the heels of Susie's passing. And GK reneiging on her visit, and generally feeling needy and stressed all the damn time!

From a distance, being stuck in quicksand may look an awful lot like wallowing in it....

I take it back. There is not enough marzipan in the world.

Keep those confections coming!! Sometimes the comfort food is what keeps us going.
I know what you mean about the gas- I drive 20 miles round trip to work each day and I try to survive on putting $20 worth of gas in my car to get back and forth. Doesn't always last with the current prices. The days of rides to Satellite Beach to go thrift shopping are long over!
Cheer up! It will get better.

Yeah, I'm trying to find a less stressful commute. Partly the cost of gas, partly the age and high milage of my car.

My idea of a "long" drive is the Entenmann's store in Rockledge, although I've done some job hunting on Barnes Blvd.

*hugs* If one more 99 cent marzipan log makes it bearable, then go for it.

I'm a week behind on SPN. We gave up TV service to save money and SPN shows the "current" episode on the 'net a few days after it airs on TV. So the last one I saw was the one where they get called back to the town with the missing sheriff, which was very good.

Yeah, that was a good one. But remind me never to sleep with Sam Winchester, because I think his post-coital mortality rate is about 95% (only one I can think of who's survived was the doctor in the siren ep.)

Once upon a time, there was a game show---I *think* it was "The Newlywed Game", where there were quesstions designed to test the knowledge of your partner. I remember one of the questions was, "What kind of candy bar would your partner be?". I gave the matter a great deal of though (probably more than the question deserved), and decided that I would be a layer of raspberry jelly, a somewhat thicker layer of marzipan, enrobed in good dark chocolate. /trivia

Television Without Pity has (or had, it's been a while since I was there) a forum category titled "Sam Winchester: Sleep with Him and Die!" But Bobby's ratio is just as bad, since his wife and Pamela are both dead. And Ellen, who I always suspected might have had a little fling with him. :)

I'm not sure what candy bar I'd be. Lately I'm very partial to those milk chocolate and hazelnut bars Aldi sells, so maybe I'd be sweet and really nutty. :D

Lately [livejournal.com profile] singer_salvage has had a few good "Bobby gets lucky!" stories, which I've enjoyed.

Don't know about the nuts, but definitely sweet! And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't your birthday coming up? Should I break out the cake and sparklers?

I really enjoyed that one that gives the back story for the big hug (and tush squeeze) Pamela greeted Bobby with on-screen.

Nah, my birthday's not until the middle of July. Don't speed up the aging process!:D I am little bit nutty sometimes -- my husband jokes that my family is so determined to do stuff the hard way that my ancestors probably amputated their own limbs during the Civil War and spit the bullets they'd been biting into the faces of the enemy. :-P

July? I must've been thinking of [livejournal.com profile] foreverhermit, who just had hers. My bad---although since I haven't missed yours, not *that* bad, after all.

Marzipan can be very helpful when you're blue. I hope next week is better for you, though.

(And I've forgotten about SPN every single Friday since it began again so I'm completely ignorant now.)

Thanks, I really hope things improve, too.

You can always check the synopses at IMDb.com. Not as much fun as watching the eps, but a cure for ignorance.

OH HONEY! Feh and double feh! Not the biggest Marzipan Fan, but whatever works I suppose...if you don't end up feeling worse in the long run.

Sorry the muse is being a bitch.

It's like the Muse is imprisioned in a dungeon of Bad Feelings. Worry, stress, pain, anxiety---not fun.

This, too, shall pass. This, too, shall pass. This, too, shall pass. This, too, shall pass. This, too, shall pass. This, too, shall pass. This, too, shall pass....

It will. Honestly. When that plot bunny comes nibbling at your toes, probably at a completely inopportune moment.
