Confessions of a One-Track Mind

Monday was not the most productive day in recent memory, but I did accomplish a few things, namely, got several bags of trash down to the curb, made sure the hydrangeas were watered and weeded (they seem to be thriving), am mostly through with the book that's "due" for book club/writing group tomorrow night, oh, and wrote 1500 words for the "Ficathon Walks Into a Bar" challenge that's due on the 28th. (I hadn't even *started* the ficathon story til today, and I freely admit, I'm recycling an idea I *wanted* to write for the Crossover_Xchange. The PoV character is different, basically.)

I have been ambushed by not one, but TWO plot bunnies today, not including the one I should be working on for cream_fudge. The bunnies have been scarce for many months, and NOW they're dogpiling on me?!

Very nice Heroes tonight (which prompted the #2 bunny). Have I mentioned how fervently I'm shipping Sylar/Danko? Because Danko is SUCH a putz, and he really needs to be put in his place, and Sylar is just the guy to do it. (If I tell you that the other tale is a SPN crossover titled "The Ghost of Star's Hollow", that'll probably give you all the info you need to roll your eyes and groan. Yeah, me too.)

This week's SPN is a rerun of After School Special, which doesn't bother me, since I rather fancied the sweet young thing who was Young!Dean. Cougar much, me?

No CSI: Miami because of basketball? Gawd, that's just wrong.

I came in to check my emails after Heroes (before going in to watch my DVR of CSI: Miami), and there was an email from GK going "Argh, I've had a techno-malfunction, did you happen to record the pre-show for Heroes?!"

Why, yes. Yes, I did. *grin* There's a reason she keeps hanging out with me...I am something of a media maven.

Miami was highly excellent. The end, oh the slashiness!

Dropped car off at Carguy's to have tailpipe fixed properly because the baling-wire-and-bubble-gum method of securing it had me decidedly insecure. Had Kat pick me up there, grabbed lunch, went and got car after, cost $50.

CUUPs meeting at church, showed the documentary "Spooked", about Waverley Hills, a former TB sanitorium that is supposedly the most haunted place in the world. Grim.

Ass on couch for House MD finale, which was intense, but probably a lot more so for y'all who have been watching it regularly all along. No, the thing that got me was the CSI: Miami cliffhanger, which I totally did NOT see coming. I'm going to be biting my nails all summer, even worse than for SPN, which is saying something!
