vanillafluffy: (Got chocolate?)
Today has been productive in small ways. I changed a lightbulb. (First, I had to find the package of new ones I bought Saturday evening. THAT took a while, because I brought it in and put it right there by the fixture that needed to be changed.) Rounded up some more cans, pitched science projects from the fridge, washed the dishes in the left-hand side of the sink. Baked brownies (mix, cooling now), because if I don't have some chocolate SOON, I'm gonna get crazy. And, since the PoS TV is gone and I finally have the other one in position to synch it, I've got my el cheapo DVD player hooked up so I can watch DVDs in my bedroom. *happy sigh* So far, I've viewed Dark Angel 2.1 and 2.2. I signed up for a digital converter box coupon---in case of inadvertant disconnection from cable, because shit happens. Oh, and I've worked on one of my fic assignments. I have two stories due in December, so I need to stay on track.

I'm still not used to how early it gets dark---daylight savings time and all---so I'm glad I took care of the fixture in the hallway, and that I have my dear little desk lamp. I've had it for a month now, and it still makes me happy when I turn it on to illuminate my office. I miss being home in the evening....
